surespa Chlorine 3-way Test Strips are formulated specifically for hot tub use and are suitable for use with all chlorine-based sanitisers.

The strips test for free chlorine, pH and total alkalinity.

When sanitising your hot tub with chlorine granules you should test the water daily and adjust the total alkalinity, the pH and the chlorine level.  This is important because chlorine will only sanitise effectively over a small pH range and that pH range must be maintained to keep your hot tub safe to use. If you are using chlorine tablets in a floating dispenser then you will need to test less frequently.

It is important to maintain a pH level of 7.2 - 7.8 and a chlorine level of 3 - 5ppm.
